NWO relief efforts in sindh

NWO understands that it is of paramount importance that relief efforts should be preempted in Sindh in order to avoid the catastrophe that occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab in which thousands have died and millions have been left stranded. It is considered to be the worst flood in the history of Pakistan.

Nishat Welfare Organization is currently aiding the relief efforts to the residents of Sindh who have been affected by the flood and those who are at risk of being affected by it. The various areas targeted are Larkana, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Thatta and Badin.

The relief efforts include transportation for evacuation of residents, provision of food, medicine, emergency healthcare, drinking water, sanitation and shelter in various camps. Currently NWO has organized 200 volunteers to assist with relief efforts in the affected areas. As of now, five relief camps have been set up at Bachaoband, Qazi Ahmad; at Sita; at Dadu; at Kandiaro, Larkana; and at Hyderabad.

There is currently an intense need for boats/rafts, clothing, medicine, food, blankets, clean drinking water and sanitary items to assist with the relief efforts. Act now.
