Flood relief medical camp by NWO
Havoc monsoon spell displaced many hundreds of thousands of people around the Sindh Province. Severely affected districts are Dadu, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad and Badin. After the rescue operation, the health of flood affected people is main concern. Several water borne diseases has been spreading on daily basis. Fresh drinking water availability is a major concern. Therefore, health issues are rising and becoming threat of life for these people.
Nishat Welfare Organization extending its support to inundated people by deploying its medical team at several places and organizing free medical camps. In the district of Badin, Sindh, NWO organized Free Medical Camps at different villages and relief camps. About 5000 families were benefitted from these camps. NWO provided free medicines and checkups with the help of senior experienced doctors and consultant from Karachi, Hyderabad and Badin to the flood affected people.
Inside the district Badin about 35km from city area, medical camp was organized at Village Ishaq Muhammad Samoon. More medical camps was organized about 15Km from the city area at Village Khan Sahib Abdur Rehman and Village Pir Muhammad Sadiq. Badin city different wards were also covered with medical camps to provide the health facilities without any caste or creed. These areas covered the population of more than 25000 people.
Specialized Doctors from the Karachi & Hyderabad reputable medical institution were provided their best services for many days. The services provided at the Free medical camp as follows:

- 2. Gyeane Clinic by Dr. Shazia & Dr Sindhu from Badin
- 3. Peads Clinic by Dr. Rasool Buksh Memon from Badin
- 4. Medical Clinic by Dr. MS Mangi from Hyderabad
- 5. General Physicians by Dr. Abdul Rasool Lakho, Dr. Asifa Lakho, Dr Imdad from Badin
- 6. Othopeadics by Dr. Abdullah Abbasi from Karachi
Appreciation
Mr. Pir Noorullah Qureshi, Special Assistant to Chief Minister of Sindh visited the different camps and appreciated the NWO for provision of health facilities to the remote inundated areas of district Badin.
The NWO Vice President, Mr. Abdul Sattar Ishaqani assures for the continuous provisions of medical facilities under the Flood Relief Operation. He thanked all the doctors and volunteers of Nishat organization for tirelessly providing their service for the noble cause.
To address the needy people as per plan, Nishat Welfare Organization is generating funds from philanthropists and corporate sector.
The next phase is the rehabilitation of the inundated people. NWO is also planning for it and looking forward from different sector for the cooperation in this regard.
